Yesterday it snowed!
Giddy as a schoolgirl I took one of my Blythes to get some snowpictures, very quickly 'cause the snow melted immediatly... I had to enjoy every minute of it as long as it was falling ^__^
So here is the little photostory I made with Lunaria, nothing fancy, just about our shared love for snow ~_^
Pearheads:
Last saturdaynight I couldn't fall asleep before I scribbled this vision down... Nothing out of the ordinary as I always tend to be the most creative at that moment... But normally these visions ( 'cause I really see the finished project) are about a photoshoot that I want to do... Now it was a painting... I really could see every detail and how I had drawn it...
I really find it so darn frustrating as I'm a pure amateur as it comes to painting and it looked so good and professional :-D
Anyway I made a sketch of it, to keep it alive but out of my head so I was able to sleep:
Little dolls:
My new girl is a little wooden doll and has her own house with wardrobe. Her name is Annemarie.
I so love the feeling about her, I can't quite put my finger on why (that's happening a lot these days...)
A plus is that her clothes also fit Blythe ^__^
Swaps:
I recieved this swap from the EU-Blythe-swap with a summertheme: 2 outfits from MissStella.
Tilia looks like a modern princess and I'm finding it so hard to change her clothes now :-D
Amber loves her plushie that is a happy monster or an angry bunny!
I made this outfit for MissStella.
I recieved wonderful goodies from Esmeraldes for the August-swap (theme: rement, retro & pictures)
I loooove the wonderful rement (I really need to make some better picts of it) and the beautiful giftbag.
The seventies EUswap
I recieved a wonderful outfit from zigandzag in the EUswap. It was so complete and amazing! She included a top, the pants, a scarf, a handbag, the hat and even shoes! We're really happy with the whole outfit.
It's so amazing how different it looks on the both girls...
I've send her this set, I fell in love with the fabric! (I really should go back to buy some more but in different colours)
It's a v-neck top with flares and a long skirt.
The june dolly lovers-swap (theme: vacation/animals)
I got my first re-ment!!! And a lot of other goodies from gataybrujo
Hairclips, a funny wooden cat pen, blythebuttons, eyelashes to customise my girls & ofcourse re-ment!!!
I must admit, I actually cried when I found the sweet little re-ment stuff. I was having a crappy day and it really was the sunshine of my day! ^__^
She really looks like she's afraid to spill anything ^__^
And look... I foiled her eyechips! And also sprayed her matte...
Now I love even her orange chips!
that you delivered all my packages before the long weekend!!! With these extremly warm, sunny days I had some time to take some new pictures of my dollies in their new clothes ^__^
Tilia heared the doorbell but she was too late... Suddenly she sees a
strange, rather tough looking girl in the garden... and she has a great
jackets aswell!
The whole weekend was amazing weather! We had 28°C (in April!!!) yesterday and I just wanted to take some new dollypictures outside... So while my daughter was taking her nap, I took my 2 littlest girls outside for a photoshoot.
I borrowed the barbiehorse from my daughter to let Tilia take a tour trough the garden ;-) (can you believe it actually can walk with a barbie on its back?!? I always thought it was a bit special effects on the commercials but it works great)
My Prima Dolly 2 Aubrey: She arrived today!!! Oh
my, I really didn't expect her to arrive so quickly. (the seller mailed
me on Saturday that he had send her)
She's GORGEOUS!!! Tilia unpacked her and helped her out of her box. And
when she realised Amber is her sister she offered all her clothes so I
could make a "real" photoshoot :-D
It's amazing how different these dolls are! I was really surprised that
their personality was so different and obvious, I mean, I know that all
blythes are different but having only one I hadn't experienced the
difference yet.
Tilia is a real girly-girl, the beautiful-girl-next-door but Amber is
more sophisticated. But she also can be really childlike, depending her
clothes.
When my hubbie walked in tonight he even said she was beautiful! Go figure! Last month he said they were weird and ugly and now he kept looking at Amber... I guess she melted his heart :-D
Now I'm going overload on pictures with the photostory of the unpacking and bonding of the sisters ;-P
Thursday we woke up and my daughter started screaming: SNOW!!! ;-)
There was a little white carpet (about 5 cm) that covered the town, so
we arrived at school a bit too late... No worries 'cause all the
children of her class were enjoying the snow :-D
Back home I wanted to take Tilia out for some snowpicts but I hadn't a
coat or hat for her so I decided to get creative with an (very) old
sock... It had been laying in my drawer since the eighties, I guess...
(concerning the colour and the slobby model :-D )
Once I made her an improvised coat, hat and socks, we went outside to enjoy a blythe photoshoot in the snow with my fisheye.
We were just getting inside when the postman rang to deliver a package with Swapgoodies from Poupéebabet. The day before we already recieved the swap from Piggy Forever so now I got them all!!!
I'll post some pictures of the story but for all the pictures and the whole story, please go to my flickr-portfolio
The Valentine Swap-goodies from Poupéebabet:
The Valentine Swap-goodies from Piggy Forever:
I've taken some pictures of the 2 sets I'm going to swap with poupéebabet & Piggy Forever
So what do you think... Do you like the clothes I made or not... Should I change something or... ?
I'm very new to swapping so I hope I don't dissappoint anyone ;-)
I'll keep this post for friends and family only untill they've recieved
the packets so it stays a surprise (or at least I hope so since I've
not added them yet here on Vox by my knowledge)
for Poupéebabet
(the ribbon is detachable)
EDIT: now everyone recieved their packages, I can make this post public :-D
So here she is... my little sweetiepie.
She arrived this afternoon with the courier. She really made my day, as I was feeling sick the whole day.
I really enjoyed unpacking her, I think I never unpacked something so carefully :D
We sat on my bed some time together before she told me she had
forgotten her name but she was sure it had an A, a T, an L and a
I-sound in it... I couldn't find any name with those letters that
sounded right for her, so I asked her if she liked Linde aswell... She
could live with that as she likes the colour and she's a natural girl.
When we wrote her previous owner a note that she arrived safe and
sound, I wanted to search the english equivalent of "Linde" and I came
across the latin name of the linden: Tilia! That was her name... so she
found her name back!!!
She wanted to try on all the clothes I already had gathered. She was thrilled with the backpack and her paintingset!
