Everyone, meet Grindelia... Grindelia, meet everyone ^_^

It's been ages since I posted some Blythe-news, h*ck, any news TBH. But I finally finished her! With the duck-eyes and everything... She's the resurrection of Mika. I never bonded with that sweetie and when I was able to buy a green rerooted scalp I knew it was time that Mika should become the butterfly that was hiding all this time in her...

When I had opened her I've put in 2 little rubber ducks instead of her eyes for some photos, just for fun ^_^
But the great comments on that picture made me take that next step in customising: painting her eyelids!
So now she goes through life with closed eyes, ok, not really because I love her new eyechips too so it's a fifty-twentyfive-twentyfive deal (yeah, 2 sets of fav eyechips :-P )

The 2 fav sets of eyechips are the pink milky ones I bought and the ones I made from her orange stockchips.
I matted them, scraped off the black center backing and painted only the top of the radient-spines of her iris black and foiled the cented with red holographic paper. I love them!!! It really was just an experiment so I didn't know that it would give this result. The two others are her stock green ones but foiled and dark pine green ones.

I understand she's not everybody's taste but finally she has found her place in my Plastic Fabtastic Family and that's all that counts ^___^

Yesterday it snowed!
Giddy as a schoolgirl I took one of my Blythes to get some snowpictures, very quickly 'cause the snow melted immediatly... I had to enjoy every minute of it as long as it was falling ^__^
So here is the little photostory I made with Lunaria, nothing fancy, just about our shared love for snow ~_^

Tilia & Amber hope everyone had an enjoyable Halloween!
They held their own party with a carved paprika... (I know... but it's so much easier for small children to make)

Last saturdaynight I couldn't fall asleep before I scribbled this vision down... Nothing out of the ordinary as I always tend to be the most creative at that moment... But normally these visions ( 'cause I really see the finished project) are about a  photoshoot that I want to do... Now it was a painting... I really could see every detail and how I had drawn it...
I really find it so darn frustrating as I'm a pure amateur as it comes to painting and it looked so good and professional :-D
Anyway I made a sketch of it, to keep it alive but out of my head so I was able to sleep:

Little dolls:
My new girl is a little wooden doll and has her own house with wardrobe. Her name is Annemarie.
I so love the feeling about her, I can't quite put my finger on why (that's happening a lot these days...)
A plus is that her clothes also fit Blythe ^__^

Roosje (Little Rose in English) is the Blythe of my daughter.
She fell in love with my girls but I wouldn't let her play too much with them as I was a bit afraid she would drop them, brake the pullingcord or something like that, although she always was very careful with them.
So I promised her to buy her one, she could play with that one whenever she liked.
She chose a Prima Dolly Violet originally but it would cost me at least the same amount as a new release (with a lot more stock) that I could preorder... so when "My best friend" was announced I showed the promopictures to my daughter and she was sold ^__^
It's really a perfect Blythe for a little girl with all that sugarsweet pink. Too sugarsweet for my taste tbh but perfect for her. And that's not a bad thing! That way I won't be tempted to lend her too many time!
I really consider her to be a Blythe version of "My first..." :-D
I must say I was quite stunned to find out she had pink nailpolish! And her clothes are very beautiful aswell in a sweet pink way ^__^

When she finally arrived my daughter was so happy she invented a song and dance to celebrate her new "doll"
You should hear her talking about her "doll". She pronounces the word so solemnly ^__^
She realises that Blythes are expensive and need to be handled carefully. At night Roosje moves to her room, just like mommy's dollies do. (I was way too scared she would be up first and find her with the girls and that there was a "oopsident")
But I got her for one night as she ordered me to take pictures of Roosje, just like I do with Tilia and Amber ^__^

We also went out to buy some more shoes... They're really cheap but the boots and sportshoes are super!
And Roosje didn't even get to try on her stock shoes ^_^ She claimed the lilac boots and I'm afraid she'll never wear anything else :-D

We decided to share most of the clothes and all the shoes. I only had to promise daddy can't lend anything! It's for our girls only ;-P

I got this funny guy from Gretchen VT some time ago but I finally found the time to take some photos of him ^___^

Two weeks ago I went along with my hubbie to Antwerp. My intention was to visit the museum of photography while he was in a meeting, but sadly when I arrived there I noticed that they're closed on monday *grrr*
I should have checked before I left but anyway, since I was there I decided to stroll though the attractions of the "Singsenfoor" (the fair that starts at Pentecost)

 
The weather was really bad but I got a few sunrays for some pictures anyway.
I was all alone in the mirrorpalace and the vintage mood of that whole place threw me back in time...
I needed to take Amber (my Blythe) out for some funny pictures, the whole atmosphere in there was too enchanting to keep her hidden in my bag ^__^

The seventies EUswap
I recieved a wonderful outfit from zigandzag in the EUswap. It was so complete and amazing! She included a top, the pants, a scarf, a handbag, the hat and even shoes! We're really happy with the whole outfit.
It's so amazing how different it looks on the both girls...

that you delivered all my packages before the long weekend!!! With these extremly warm, sunny days I had some time to take some new pictures of my dollies in their new clothes ^__^

Tilia heared the doorbell but she was too late... Suddenly she sees a strange, rather tough looking girl in the garden... and she has a great jackets aswell!
