Some fabulous choices there, the Tears for Fears one made my day!...although I have to say I cannot stand the Brightman....she's just so strange and not in an interesting way...plus she doesn't have that strong of a voice to sing classical opera she should stick to broadway.
great choice of music...i haven´t heard of Valensia before and oh, i also did not know MAD WORLD was from Tears for fears ^^; .... for my part, i like the classical Pop remixes of sarah brightman, though while listening i was thinking it´s an interesting choice to mix some oriental tunes to a WildWest/Japanese love story ^^ ... and thx for sharing such a good looking Robbie with us ^_~
Ah well, everyone has a different taste ^__^
I so love Sarah Brightman, and seeing her live only deepened my love for her music. But I have to say I'm not that fond of her performance of classical opera pieces either. I really appreciate the music she makes now (like "Beautiful Day", "Captain Nemo",...)

Tears for Fears RULE!!! :-D
I always cared for their music but those symphonic versions were absolutely AMAZING! I had goosebumps all over... I so love the Night of the Proms (the Belgian version), each year they surprise me with these great artists and stunning versions!
Although the clip of Gaia by Valensia is horrible, I love his style very much. He kind of combines beatles-sound with the queen-sound. And in his other music he clearly knows how to bring rock ballads and fun, weird stuff aswell. The problem is only his first album was released in Europe, all the others were solely for the Japanese market as he and Robbie Valentine got together in the V-project... so I had to import all the other CDs from Japan and they're hard to find these days (at least the last time I tried to get on, that's at least a year ago).

Hahaha, well, know you know Gary Jules has a great version but IMO this version is even better ^__^

Sarah Brightman has a lot of great and interesting songs with these mixed cultures... especially on her last CD. If ever see the making of, you'll be amazed how many authenticate musicians she has contacted to get that true Oriental sound. I appreciate her pop remixes but I admire her for her own music like this song. ^_^

Robbie!!! *faints*
Just give me Robbie anyday ^__^
I'm soooo exited he's going to make a second swing album! I would really love to see him perform these songs live as I'm always so impressed by his shows.
But he only performed these Swing songs in the Royal Albert Hall... (and maybe 1 or 2 times somewhere else but not in a place I could get to anyway T_T )
