One more week...
One more week before the dreaded 30 is here... (yes, thirty, not 20+10, or "forever" 29,... or some other weird euphemism)
I don't really care as I had my 'oh my gosh, I'm no teen anymore"-moment when my daughter started school 2,5 years ago but apparently I'm supposed to have it now...
Everyone keeps asking me if I'm aware I'll be 3O in a few days, I know it's just making conversation and letting me know they're thinking of me, but I just don't get the hoopla about it ^__^
Everyone was shocked when I had that feeling and didn't really believe me but really, I was way more freaked out of turning 28 than 30 ^__^
Anyway I'll be having a great birthday for sure as the whole weekend is booked full:
friday: the opening of an art exhibit of a befriended artist
saturday: celebrating my birthday with my best friends that I've not seen in half a year... (bad, bad Peggy!)
sunday: celebrating my birthday with my family
I just hope I've recovered from my sleepless 2 weeks by then...
